Philosophy
My philosophy of photography is to capture simple things in a memorable manner rather than to capture memorable moments... My main areas of interest in photography are:
  • Macro
  • Wildlife / Nature
  • Still Life
  • Street
Equipment
  • Panasonic Lumix FZ-30
I bought this in October 2005 and I am since then, extremely pleased with it. When you don't have enough money to go for a DSLR but you can convince yourself to point and shoot, then this is what you should go for.
Cameras comparable to this one are mainly the Canon S2/3 IS and the new Panasonic FZ-50.

  • Zenit 122
This is a very old 1981, hand made, russian camera. I got it about 5 years ago. An excellent camera for indoors portraits as well as street photography. I comes with a superb 50mm, f2.0 helios lens. Not much use taking this one out on wildlife trips but it renders indoor photographs quite exquisitely

  • Vivitar Flashgun This is my Dad's flashgun that I am currently using. Works great with the FZ-30. The best thing is that I can bounce light the scene.
