There are several techniques which play into Graphology. Some of the first steps towards analyzing
a sample are listed here. You can use these to know the general characterstics of a person. So here's the
list along with the short insight into finding out a particular characteristic. Remember that these traits generally
do not mean anything by themselves. They are to be coupled with other specific traits to derive a reasonably correct
conclusion about the writer. So also, the characteristics mentioned here are the basis of finding out the degree of
truth of the content of the sample. They present a general trend / way the writer writes. So, any diversion from this
general trend is taken to be suspicious.
- Slant
The slant is the direction and degree in which the letters tilt. This property helps you assess whether the
person is an introvert or an extrovert.
- Slope
The slope is the direction and degree in which the lines of writing go upwards / downwards on the page. This
property will help you determine whether the person is happy or depressed
- Size
The size is the size of the writing. This helps you tell how talkative the person is.
- Pressure
The pressure with which the sample is written. This tells you the intensity of the feelings / emotions of the writer.
